Brownill Bateman represents a multi-faceted firm of Chartered Surveyors formed as long ago as 1884. The firm, in addition to dealing with commercial and industrial property, specialise in the licensed and leisure market.

Whilst our general commercial agency may be classed as being regional we operate on a UK basis as far as licensed and leisure property is concerned.

Rodger Vickers
Joined the practice in 1964, is primarily involved in licensed and leisure
property and specialises in licensed property leases and rentals, dispute
resolution and Expert Witness services. Rodger is a Fellow of the Royal
Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an Associate of the Chartered Institute
of Arbitrators, a member of the Expert Witness Institute, a Vice President
and Fellow of the Association of Valuers of Licensed Property and a Fellow
of the Restaurant Property Advisors society. |

Martin Nicholson
Joined Brownills in 1991, is a Chartered Surveyor and is managing partner.
Martin's works sees him involved in all facets of valuation and agency
work. |

Nick Giles
Is also a Fellow of the Association of Valuers of Licensed Property. He
is also a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents. He joined
the firm in 1989 and is primarily involved in licensed property changeover/fixtures
valuations but also has an involvement in lease assignment marketing. |

Lee Sidebottom
Is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and BSc (Hons).
He joined the firm in 1998 and his work sees him involved in the commercial
and industrial property and the structural inspection sections of the
firm. He similarly deals with non-licensed property valuation work. |

Robin Curtis
Joined the firm in 1999 and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors. Robin heads the property management section of the firm and
has a strong involvement in all facets of unlicensed property valuation
work and commercial agency. |

Joined the firm with a BA (Hons) behind her in 1992. She is a Fellow of
the Association of Licensed Property Valuers and deals with licensed property

Alistair Firth
Joined the firm in 1967 and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors. Alistair specialises in all aspects of licensed and leisure
property valuation. |

Miles Pierce
Arrived at Brownills in 1978, is a Chartered Surveyor and BSc. (Hons).
Miles deals in the commercial and industrial property and the structural
inspection sections of the firm. He similarly deals with non-licensed
property valuation and rating work. |

Chris Platts
Became part of the firm when his family licensed property valuation business
R.T. Platts of Derby merged with Brownills in 2003. |
