Brownill Bateman are also one of the first Sheffield-based residential letting agents to become members of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for regulated agents. This scheme has been developed to comply with the requirements of the Housing Act 2004 and helps ensure that deposits held on behalf of Landlords are protected and any disputes with regard to their return are resolved swiftly inexpensively and impartially. The scheme is fully supported by ARLA, the National Association of Estate Agents and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Brownill Bateman are also members of The Sheffield District Landlords Association.

A let only service whereby Brownill Bateman source suitable tenants for your property and undertake tenant referencing on your behalf. Such service includes:

  • Regular press advertising
  • A To-Let board as required
  • Brochure particulars
  • Internet based advertising
  • Accompanied or arranged viewings
  • Full tenant referencing
  • Advising utility companies of change of occupier details
  • Preparation of a contents inventory with photographs to support
  • Preparation and execution of a Tenancy Agreement

Our full letting and management service consists of the above plus full service administration and rent collection. We ensure that, as part of this service, necessary regular safety checks and inspections are undertaken and that any items of disrepair reported by tenants are dealt with quickly and professionally.

We also deal with tenancy renewals and annual rent reviews, as appropriate.

Our flexible management approach means that we take responsibility for our client's property, saving time and money.
